Azarabadegan Khoy Cement Co. was founded in 1383 (2004), 16 km from the city of Khoy, to produce various cement products: Portland Type 2-42.5, Portland Type 1-42.5, Portland Type 1-32.5, Portland Limestone and moderate sulphate-resisting SR10-42.5R, with a capacity of one million tonnes per year. The company's mission is to produce various types of cement for public and private sector customers for construction use inside and outside the country. Another of the company's important missions is to create employment in the region and to meet the country's needs for cement.
