Company Profile and History

Azarabadegan Khoy Cement Co. is located in the north-east of Khoy County on a site of 68 hectares. With an annual production capacity of one million tonnes, the plant was built in 1383 (2004) by the late Dr. Ali Asghar Nabizadeh Asl (founder and establisher of Azarabadegan Khoy Cement) to produce various cement products such as Type 1-42.5, Type 2-42.5 and Portland Limestone Cement, and it came into operation in 1389 (2010). The company's mission is to produce various types of cement for public and private sector customers for construction use inside and outside the country. Another of the company's important missions is to create employment for 500 people directly and 5,000 people indirectly in the region, and to meet the country's needs for cement. We are proud that, with special attention to social and environmental responsibility and in pursuit of cement production with the lowest possible level of pollutants, this company has taken steps towards building a solar power plant.
